These bodies of ours have to last a lifetime, so let’s make the best of what we have with these simple tips and tricks you can begin practicing right now.

Beauty starts from within. It’s a common saying, but what exactly does it mean? The way we treat our bodies, from the food choices we make to the exercises we perform, go hand in hand when it comes to achieving a healthy, glowing complexion.


The rewards of exercise go far beyond shedding weight and toning up. A mere 30 minutes of exercise a day, whether that be a brisk jog or an at-home Pilates workout, has been shown to reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety as well as improve the immune system.* Other benefits of exercising daily include:

Aesthetically speaking, exercise paired with healthy eating choices does wonders for your skin. Scrub Every Day -  Every time you shower make a point to spend a few minutes scrubbing your feet. This will keep them smooth and callus-free.


Clip Those Nails - Every three to four weeks you want to use small toenail clippers to trim your nails. If you leave your nails too long, they will push up against your shoes, which can become painful.


Soak Your Feet - If you’re on your feet a lot, a foot soak is a great way to unwind, relax, and relieve any aches and pains from the day. If you’re feeling really adventurous, after the foot soak, treat yourself to a lovely little pedicure for extra foot rejuvenation.


In addition to the above foot care tips, you should also take into consideration the type of shoes that you are wearing on a daily basis. The shoe you wear should offer support in all the right places and be comfortable enough to wear all day long, especially if you plan on being active.
